Jason’s home is gorgeous! The space is perfect for a quiet getaway while still being close enough to local eateries and things to do. Jason was extremely communicative and helpful. Absolutely recommend!

Fantastic home and host! Jason’s place was as advertised- our family had a great weekend both at the house and around the local area. Jason’s suggestions for restaurants and activities were on point and the game room downstairs was a huge hit as well. The house was clean, well stocked with thoughtful amenities and had everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful weekend away from home. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to others!

Jason was super responsive and the place was lovely! The power went out for a couple hours on one day, but he let us know immediately and told us when it'd be back on. The house was super clean! It was very fun to use the grill, blackstone, and hot tub.

Looked just like the pictures! We had a small issue with the hot tub, but it was resolved within an hour or so of us checking in. Very responsive! Would book this house again!

Jason was super responsive and accommodating when the power went out due to a wind storm. He called the electric company for an update and kept us informed. His house was set up for great family fun; we were just disappointed when we had to leave early!

Probably the most responsive host and property manager that I've ever encountered on AirBnB. I had texted the PM with an issue and she was there within 5 minutes. Impressive. The natural surroundings are beautiful -- we were there during a snowstorm and it felt like a postcard. They also had someone come and plow the area so that we could drive up/down the hill. Plenty of firewood outdoors, which we appreciated. The only downside was the hot tub scum which prevented us from using it over the long weekend (needed to drain the water and clean it rather than just add more chlorine), and there were dead bugs in the bedroom carpet -- stink bugs/flies/ladybugs/etc.. (nothing large or invasive). More of a nuisance than anything -- but still, not perfectly clean. All in all, we'd stay again -- maybe in the summer so that we can actually use the pool?

This place is so comfortable and easy to be in! The pictures are accurate, the space is clean and easy. We would love to make an other visit. The instructions and information from the host was super clear and we had zero problems during our stay.

We spent 4 days with family over Christmas break at this place. We enjoyed every minute of it. The location and amenities perfectly match the description. The game room was a hit. A lot of great hiking options in the area. The Lost River Trading Post is a must visit local store. We will definitely return to this place again. Thank you, Jason, for hosting such a great place!

Best bnb ever

Definitely one of the top Air BnBs we’ve stayed at. Exactly as pictured, comfortable, incredibly well appointed (there’s not 1 but 2 stocked coffee bars), and Jason was a fantastic host. Absolutely recommend.

It’s an amazing house for sure! Just like the picture shows. I paid almost $900 for Tuesday and Wednesday nights I recommend this house for summer season in case you wanna enjoy the pool. I felt like they’re really strict with the rules but I understand that’s how they keep the house beautiful. The only thing missing from this house was dish soap and paper towels. Unlike other houses I have rented, this one does not have these types of extras, it wasn’t a big problem bc there’s a dollar store 7 minutes away. Regarding the host, he was very efficient, he responded very quickly to my questions, which was very efficient for me since it was my first time using the Airbnb app. I have rented through Booking and Expedia. The truth is that it is the same system, but for some reason I was nervous that something would not go well at the moment of check in. I am 35 weeks pregnant so I couldn’t enjoy the hot tub but my sisters did. I had a relaxed nights at the fire pit, they had plenty of wood.

One of the rooms had a closet with faculty shelfs that broke when elderly parents tried to hang clothes. This could have caused serious injuries to elderly mom and dad. Instead of apologizing, Jason tried to invoice us for repairs. He also tried to say we stole towels, which they then discovered. Horrible experience.

Nice spot with plenty of amentities - arcade, pool table, hot tub, heated pool and a great outdoor kitchen setup. Local restaurants do have limited open times and local grocery store has some essentials but closes early. I would definitely plan accordingly unless you have the time to drive 30-45 minutes to better options. Would definitely stay again with a better meal plan setup before the trip started.

This house is really awesome. The pool and hot tub are nice, and the grilling area with Blackstone makes cooking easy. Big game room downstairs with a pool table, arcade...great for kids. Lots of hiking, and other fun stuff to do in the area.

Great home - looks just like the pictures and has plenty of space for BBQing and spending a great week/weekend with friends or family.

My company used this Air BnB to house our staff who were working at an event 30 mins away. The location was convenient and the facilities impeccable. Wish we had more free time to enjoy the pool and the woods.

Just had a great 4 day weekend at this gem with family for a little R&R getaway. House is so nice and just as pictured. Very peaceful location. Quaint little town too. Ate dinner at Mack’s, visited the Farmer’s market, and went to Kerr’s grocery a couple times. We came prepared with a lot as we planned to eat most all of our meals in. Thought about going to some local attractions but opted to stay in and make full use of the house & its amenities and so glad we did. Coffee dates every morning with Ms Pac-Man, lounging in the pool for hours during the afternoons, big breakfasts/dinners on the griddle and grill, hot tub, fires & ping pong battles at night. Was a good time! And can’t say enough nice things about Jason. Gave the most thorough instructions I’ve ever received from a home owner and always quick to answer with any concerns. Hated to leave but knew others needed to come take a turn and have some fun too.

Can’t say enough good things about this location and host! The house is perfect - every detail is thoughtful. Plenty of space to spread out on the three floors. The indoor highlights were the master, the kitchen, and the game room. Outside…the pool, hot tub, grilling area, and fire pit were all equally enjoyed. Jason sent many area recommendations and we did some hiking, swimming in the lake at Trout Pond, and shopping at the Farmers Markets. Now we are just trying to find time to come back! Well done!!

This was our second stay at Jason’s place and once again it was phenomenal accommodations. We were there for a work retreat and it was very productive. It is a spacious, quiet and relaxing place.

5 stars. This home has plenty of space for our family, was immaculately clean and simply beautiful. It rained out entire stay and we didn't even mind! Plenty of room to spread out, the hot tub was in great order, the arcade kept my kids occupied for hours. My only suggestion for the owners is to update the pictures because these don't do it justice! There is a beautiful loft space and private area upstairs that wowed us. Definitely worth the trip for some private time in a great home.

We had the best time! The property was perfect for our girls getaway!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, well appointed, and we really loved the wooded setting and all the space. We also loved ping-pong, pool, and the arcade games. We were there over Christmas, and appreciated the holiday decorating. Two things to note: some of the descriptions in the listing were inconsistent. Jason was great about clarifying when we asked a question, but I’d pay attention to both the photos and the text and reach out if you have questions. Additionally, in at least two or three places, there were cameras on the outside of the house that were on. We are guessing that they were for security, which I certainly understand, but some might not feel comfortable with this level of oversight.

My family loved it hope to be back soon.

My husband and I had a great stay at Jason’s place. Check in was easy, house was clean and had many amenities, location was easy to find and was very peaceful. We really enjoyed the hot tub, game room and also the music throughout the house. Most things were a drive to get to, but we enjoyed the scenery on the way to Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks and Skyline Drive. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our weekend at this home! The property was very secluded, but still easy to access. The home was by far one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever rented and perfectly equipped. The kitchen had plenty of supplies we were able to use to cook most of our meals at home, and our host provided us a ton of suggestions for the meals we ended up eating out. We got a ton of use out of the fire pit, hot tub, and game room downstairs. Our host Jason was very thorough with his instructions and answered all of our questions very quickly ahead of our trip. Cannot recommend this home enough!!

A great peaceful spot perfect for a group retreat

We had a lot of fun during our four-night stay at High Point Haven. The house was very nicely decorated, clean, and spacious. We especially liked the game room, the hot tub, and making a good dinner using the grill. There were plenty of pans, utensils, dishes, bowls and glasses. The upstairs Keurig was especially convenient! The wooded lot was so peaceful and private. We roasted hot dogs and made s'mores over the fire. We bought cinnamon buns at the nearby farmer's market (yum!) and did some hiking. We appreciated that pets are welcome there, and we would definitely consider going back sometime!

We had a great weekend and can’t wait to come back with friends! The house was beautiful and had everything we could ask for and more!

Very nice house, very clean, very “cosy”

Overall it's a really nice stay with peaceful surroundings, although there was no hot water in the downstairs bathroom, and the real disappointment was that at the end of the stay even tho we paid a cleaning fee we had to take off all the bed sheets and pillow covers and put with the towels in the wash machine, and we had to takeout the trash.

Absolutely perfect. Huge space with loads of extras, great location to relax with the family with short drives to great hikes, not to close or to far from town if there is something you need.

Our family of four had a great time at High Point Haven. The house was new, modern, and with all the latest amenities. The location was ideal for a private getaway. Our family had a fantastic time, especially spending time on the wrap around deck and the open floorplan. We only went out for quick trips and visited the Wardensville town and enjoyed the Garden Market and Lost River Trading Post. We would absolutely recommend people to stay here.

Jason’s home exceeded all the expectations my friends and I had for the weekend. The spot was the perfect get away to be one with nature in privacy but still feel completely safe. The photos on the listing matched the house perfectly. It was exactly what we needed to enjoy time away from reality. We only left the house to retrieve groceries and enjoy some local attractions. Majority of the time was spent either on the deck or in the game room. 10/10 would come back. Thank you again for sharing this wonderful space!!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was really a completely new, modern, beautiful house in the woods. The pictures do not do it justice. We had everything we needed and more! We really appreciated all the “extras” — the nice towels and linens, robes in the closet, tea and coffee, and toiletries. It made us feel like we were at a resort rather than a rental. The whole family loved the game room downstairs, curling up in the beautiful living room, and enjoying the hot tub. The town of Wardensville was such a nice surprise! It’s very close (5 minutes tops) to the house, and was fun to explore. We especially loved the Garden Market, the glass blowing place, Word Play, and the trading post. We wished we would have booked longer and definitely plan to be back! Thanks for being such a wonderful host, Jason!

Jason’s cabin was just as beautiful as the pictures but even more spacious than I imagined. This cabin was very up-to-date with high-speed Wi-Fi, smart devices in each room along side Smart TVs, Fun old school games and beautiful interior design. There was lots of cooking supplies in the kitchen and countertop space for cooking as well. The surrounding area was beautiful and the locals were very friendly. There was a lovely market about five minutes away with delicious treats and fresh produce. Jason was a lovely host and had lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat as well as quick responses to any questions we had. I would absolutely recommend people to stay here.

He was always available and responsive to our requests, making our experience at High Point Haven truly personalized. The pac man arcade game was a hit.
